Here is a quick review on Google Chrome. A few minutes ago , Google Chrome was unleashed to the world. I have used it for say 15 minutes now and now writing this post from Google Chrome. From this short span of usage , what I’ve felt is that Chrome is going to stay. Unlike Froogle or Orkut, Chrome will stay here and will be a standard in browsers. Created with the best features in the best browsers along with improved features, Chrome in short is the best now. Some one just said me that its not Eye candy. But i dont think that is a criteria for a good browser. A few things about Google Chrome that I noted are,
Positives :
1. Google Apps and Gmail is definitely faster on Google Chrome. V8 is rocking inside.
2. Incognito or Porn Mode is really usefull.

3. There is no permanent Status Bar in Google Chrome. It pops in when loaing page and dissappears after page load. A cool feature to save space.
4. Dragging and dropping of Tabs
5. Task Manager and the Stats for Nerd link.

Negatives :
6. Oops!! No Master Password for Password Manager!
7. There is no “Undo Close Tab ” as in Firefox. A miss!!
Thats a fair list for 15 minutes usage. I am sure that Chrome has much more surprises for me. And yea! I am loving this Blue-White minimalistic design.

Just like “undo closed tab” in Firefox, when we open a new tab in chrome, there is an option “Recently Closed Tabs” below “Recent bookmarks”. It gets updated in real time. But it stays there only for around 5 minutes aprox after closing a tab.
