Remove Orbit Downloader from Chrome

If you have installed Orbit Downloader  and then uninstalled it, chances are there for downloads from Chrome failing as they will redirect the download handle to the Orbit Downloader which is not present in the system.  This happens because, the Orbit uninstaller skips to remove a plugin file from the Google Chrome Plugin directory. You have to manually delete the file to completely remove the Orbit Downloader plugin from the system. Just follow these steps.

1. Close Google Chrome
2. Go to
C:\Users\<YOUR USER NAME HERE>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\Plugins
3. Delete the file  nporbit.dll

If you failed to find nporbit.dll  in this location, search for the file and delete it. The same steps can be used for removing it from Firefox or Opera by navigating to corresponding plugin paths.
