The payment page for my current adsense check is showing an exchange rate of 1:1 for USD : INR instead of something close to 1:45. I had instant shock seeing this. After some research on Adsense support I found a post saying that thiswas actually a general error. According to Adsense support team,[digg=http://digg.com/url_to/story_on_digg]
The exchange rate from USD to some local currencies is displaying in accounts incorrectly as 1:1 for payments issued on September 23.
Adsense Exchange error in one of my Adsense Account
Thankfully, this error has not affected the payments. Google Support team has assured that ,
the actual payments were issued at normal exchange rates and will be received with out any delay.
Given here is the screenshot from one of my Adsense Account’s “Payment Issued” page. The original exchange rate from USD to INR will be some where near 1:45. So 176.35 USD will be near 8000 INR. “Payment issued” date for this account was September 23rd. This error is reported to be in every payment released in september 23rd.
Anyway , since the official word from Google Adsense Support has been out now that Payments were issued without any problems , I am less bothered about this glitch.
